Pending "Happy hour" points boost!

I think there should be some sort of points buff for sure. Less of the idle "here's xx points for playing" and more getting points for actually doing stuff.

Like, no hate to the AFKers grinding points out. The other night I left it running too out of curisoity when the server had no one playing. Think I made 500 over a couple hours?

Feel like the points should be overall increased, just a bit. Nothing crazy because yeah I get the whole point is to play and get points, but killing a T is only 30 (+10 for headshot)

Maybe even down the lines some silly quests for a small boost of like 100 points or w/e. Stuff you would do anyways, but gives you something to work towards. I cannot stress this enough, small quests like "kill 50 innocents as a traitor" or "kill 10 traitors as a detective" or something. Stuff that you would most likely do anyways, but some "goals" to try and achieve. Maybe you get some silly hat for completing a bunch of them lol

i wouldnt hate "quests" to get cosmetics, either out of a box (wow gacha wow) or just straight up for a specific item i suppose.

having other incentives to keep playing is always good as long as it isnt directly "get better x" or something like the inventory servers for example

please god dont start selling item boxes ill go insane

It would reduce several people to, "Oh I'm just doing my daily's," or like "Hey sorry for playing a shit round I had a challenge to use a crowbar only"

Happy hour is good though, I like happy hour. Only for active players though.

could just be a non-daily thing perhaps. i'm thinking like for example, just a main quest to get 100/1000/10000 kills as t for example that isn't daily-restricted. would reward, i dunno, a silenced pistol skin or something. that way it also doesnt incentivize playing a specfic way that neuters you like the crowbar thing you mentioned

I think introducing milestones to unlock something as a static reward that you progress toward as you play, would be a cool idea. But that is leaning into being entirely different suggestions.

Returning to the suggestion at hand; I think introducing more incentive at certain times of day is not a bad idea. Especially to get pop going. To that end, +1. I'd worry a little about a significant % dipping when happy hour ends. Since the incentive is lessened after that. But I think in the current server climate and playerbase, it wouldn't be an issue.

My thinking exactly as well. Arbitrary things that are simply just something to work towards, you can either actively do it, or just simply ignore it without affecting core gameplay.
