2. Why do you want to join the Giants Lair staff team?
I want to ensure that Gians Lair remains a safe and fun enviroment for all players.


3. What skills or experiences do you bring to the team?
(e.g., past staffing, conflict resolution, technical knowledge, etc.)
I have staffed in the past for both SMG and Crescent. For resolving conflict I would warn both parties to stop and if they continue, I would provide the
nessacary punishment


4. How active are you across our platforms (GMod, Discord, Forums)?
Provide a breakdown if possible.
I'd say I'm pretty active across all 3 platforms


5. How much time can you realistically dedicate to staffing per week?
Id say around at least 10 hours a week


6. How well do you handle pressure, criticism, or heated situations?
I can take criticism pretty well and for heated situations I would realise that the situation as turned into an argument and stop, going on with my day


7. How would you describe your conflict resolution style?
I'd describe it as giving a warning and telling them that if they continue they'd be muted and or kicked depending on how severer the conflict is and if that still continues, I would consolt my admin to see how long of a ban they think is best suited


8. Are you familiar with the TTT server rules and general community standards?
Yes I am familiar with the rules and standard within the community


9. What does your punishment history (if any) look like on our servers?
Be honest — transparency is appreciated.
I have been slain for RDM a couple of times that's about it


10. What is your reputation like within the community?
Can you name any reputable players or staff who would vouch for you?

I'd say my reputation is pretty good, as for who would vouch I haven't got a clue​
 
Saw this coming from a mile away. +1. Youve been fantastic to have on the server. I havent seen 1 report against you, youre never causing chaos on the server, and youre dope to be around. Good luck!

I've considered what I'd say if you did apply a few times now, since I practically took it as given that you would.
To inform that, I've kept an eye on you. Two in fact. 👁️👃👁️

I was skeptical initially, since we have some shared experience from Crescent and - I feel - didn't end on the best note between us personally. But frankly it's so long ago I barely remember what happened except vague things. Things that - given its been literal years - I wouldn't hold against you anyway.
You absolutely have what it takes to be a moderator at GL. Between rule knowledge and general attitude, plus the fun you bring to the servers. On those grounds, +1. Just don't RDM when you get staff, or you'll get punted into a lava lake (in minecraft) 🙏
 
Hey Ruki.

From what I recall, your mod tenure at crescent ended with a pretty major ban for you and a few others for toxicity and harassment. I have no interest in dredging up the details of that since it was years ago and I'd like to respect the privacy of those who were involved and have no relationship to this community, but I do think it's worth mentioning because I simply haven't seen enough yet to feel confident that you would be more graceful should a similar situation occur. Back when this occurred, you were well regarded in the community for the most part, active, and very nice for the most part. But I had multiple people approaching me about toxic, passive-aggressive, and undermining comments made in groups outside of the public view, until it eventually boiled over. Crescent had issues with clique mentalities both in and outside of the staff team, which made it a very unwelcoming environment, and you were regularly entrenched in the center of that.

This is not to say that I don't support this application. My interactions here with you have been entirely positive so far, and as others have mentioned above, your participation in and around the community is a delight. Second chances are of course the spirit of this community, and I don't want to hold your ban at crescent against you, but at this time I simply haven't seen enough to be confident that a similar situation or a situation where some of the people you've previously clashed with wouldn't turn incendiary. If you are interested, I'd love to discuss this further privately to assuage my concerns. For the time being, I'm remaining neutral on this and I really look forward to seeing you around more.
