So I tried to join the server today and saw I was banned for Harrassment + Toxicity. Im guessing this was due to last night with TheNightmare. I'm not gonna claim that I didn't kind of deserve that but if I am unbanned I will just mute him and it won't happen again. I would really like to be unbanned cuz I play almost every night and if I was I would immediately cease interacting with TheNightmare in any kind of way that could be construed as toxic/annoying/harrassment.
I want an honest answer to this one question: On innomotel last night, nightmare threw a few nades. Did you intentionally walk into one to hurt his karma/get him slain?

I don't know if I'm supposed to comment on these; but this bit of calling this individual a chud and joking with him has been continued over the course of two weeks from varying sources.
I myself participated in said bit and did very similar actions to LadderDuck's as the player is generally an RDMer and says some very rule-toe'ing comments in response. At no point did he make it evident to staff or to players involved (to my knowledge, as even I have never been reached out to regarding my comments/following behavior in-game) that this behavior was unwelcomed to the point he wanted staff enforcement to solve such

I'm not going to dive fully in depth about his ban here, but there is a "right" way to react to a perceived problematic character playing TTT with you and a "wrong" way. The following is the wrong way.
Saw these reports, then saw this wonderful comment by you in chat and sent a warning your way.
A few rounds later, the following sequence occurs: You hunt him down as inno while he's detective, engage with him in voice chat after you've been told to leave him alone, and threaten to report him for damage you intentionally walked into.
He shortly disconnects after, and a little grave dancing occurs
On top of this chicanery, I've dived into several death scenes and talked to several other staff members ( @steve@Shaddoll ) which can confirm you were following this dude for for MAPS trying/achieving to get a rise out of him. This isn't cool at all and if anything hinders your goal of "removing him" from the server. @helix and I had a lengthy back and forth yesterday about the validity of issuing a lengthy punishment on him when you/others were attempting to get under his skin and bait him with punishments.
I have another question for you: How would you change your approach in the future with players of a similar nature?

Well in the future I would just not repeat the same or similar kinds of behavior. So no following someone repeatedly, purposefully trying to be damaged by them, taunting them for damaging me. This whole thing started with TheNightmare cuz he was rude to my brother so I would just let it go next time.
